The Ginseng root ,age 4-6 years will be used for the Korean ginseng product standard that is grade A ginseng with an adequate and balanced composition, and then produce it within a short period of time since the ginseng root is harvested from the plot to preserve the taste. A suitable time in harvesting
Ginseng is usually harvested for processing from 6-year-old ginseng roots. Anyhow, from ILHWA’s research discovered that the 6 years old ginseng root is rather old because of the dense fibers and lose the balance of ginsenosides and other important substances, such as phenols and polysaccharides so that IlHWA uses the highest quality ginseng to harvest at the right time, that is the ginseng root between the ages of 4-5 years, to achieve the highest quality range and balance of ginsenosides
Ginseng processing standards
The Ginseng processing with high care. Ginseng is a sensitive herb that requires special handing and care to preserve the essential Ginseng root part. IlHWA uses the whole ginseng roots for processing that is difference from mostly companies that peels off the roots. Although peeling process help for time saving but the main ingredients such as ginsenosides founded in Ginseng root become lower quality. To achieve the highest efficiency of the product, ILWHA is processing without peeling instead.
IlHWA has developed and patented a special ginseng processing process to extract ginseng roots using an alcohol extraction method unique to ILHWA ginseng. The extract obtained from this extraction method produces 100% of the ingredients, unlike conventional ginseng extractions that are extracted with water, as they will cause almost complete destruction of the components of ginseng.
White Ginseng, ILHWA Product Exclusive
Ginsenosides in white ginseng are usually less than red ginseng. In order to produce the red ginseng needs the high temperature even though other essential vitamin will be destroyedใ Most other ginseng companies use a high-heat steaming process turning the white ginseng into the red ginseng, but it also destroys important vitamins and germanium which is effective the natural vascular cleanser, including reducing amino acids and polysaccharides. To avoid this, IlHWA uses a low temperature and pressure system. For this reason, IlHWA's powerful production of white ginseng has preserved an amino acids. Vitamins and polysaccharides and other important substances as a result of IlHWA's advanced special and specialized processes. Our white ginseng is highly extracted, capable of increasing the amount of ginsennoside in quantities 2-3 times greater than red ginseng. Moreover, the taste and good smell of ginseng were preserved such a long period without unusual changing to the products.
